
Mark Miller
Director of Worship, Music & Sacred Arts
Mark has served First Christian Church since 1986. A native of Grand Island, NE, Mark graduated fromHastings College in Hastings, NE, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree with a focus on Organ Performance. He continued his studies at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where he received his Master of Music degree in Organ Performance and Church Music.
At First Christian Church, Mark guides and oversees various vocal, handbell, and instrumental ensembles, ensuring the integration of sacred art in worship services and throughout the church building. His leadership and dedication have made a significant impact on the church’s musical and artistic endeavors.
In addition to his responsibilities at First Christian Church, Mark has served as the Organist at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun (The South Street Temple) in Lincoln. He is a long-time member of the Lincoln Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, where he has held various positions on the executive board, including Sub-Dean and Director of the Lincoln Organ Showcase.
Mark is also the President and Tonal Director of the Bedient Pipe Organ Company in Lincoln.
